Shades of Cute

My four children are an endless source of design inspiration for me. From their insanely clever artwork, to the funky treads on their sneakers, to the cool geometric patterns in their math textbooks, they constantly influence my work as an interior designer.

So when my wonderful friend and fellow Corcoran alum Susie Kwon gave my daughter Maeve this beautiful outfit, I was immediately drawn to its vibrant, chromatic stripes. Thanks to the very generous Susie, and to my tiny muse, Miss Maeve.

Seldom I write comments, because I think it is better to be muted than write stupid, but on this occasion I wanted to congratulate you. Some write, that a bridge is beautiful, and I write that such entries are needed more, perhaps many others will open your eyes. Thanks, if I invite myself to do it very subtly.
